I'm often asked how much the Megaprocessor has cost, and what's in it. In the past I've given various answers. Now (March 2016) I'm near the end of the project I thought I'd rootle through the paperwork and try and come up with a more accurate answer. And the answer is more than I thought and certainly more than I planned at the start (which was maybe £5,000~£10,000).

Total cost is now nudging over £40,000 which splits roughly:

PCBs £14,000
Aluminium £3,500
Tools (scope etc) £2,000
Name Plates + engraving £900
Artwork + printing £900
Wood, fasteners, etc £500
